Ok friends, I am officially convinced, CBS should be on your network radar if it isn't already. I had the opportunity to see the premier showing of "All Rise", "Bob <3 Abishola", and the new season of "The Neighborhood". Let me tell you, CBS is coming to play! "All Rise" might just be my new favorite drama. It is relatable, empowering, and pours light onto current issues that often get overlooked. If you are looking for a new series to start watching I suggest starting with "All Rise".
Also, CBS knows how to diversify and I fully support that! I don't just mean "they have black people". I mean people from every background, LGBTQ, special needs, various family dynamics... they are all for it! (Talk about a cool company).
Let's talk about the culture of the event... I didn't know many people and wasn't sure what to expect. Every person I found myself next to was warm, open, and authentic. I thought I might feel awkward, but it was just the opposite.
It reinforced the idea to me that it is so important to put yourself in enviroments that have positive energy. The atmosphere you find yourself in will directly impact how you feel. Finding one that inspires you, and allows you to be yourself is a must!!!
Xoxo, A.
